The new generation Honda Jazz is finally going to hit the Indian roads. It is expected that the car would be launched in both diesel as well as petrol variants with some cosmetic changes. The diesel variant is likely to pack the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio, which can generate a power of 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm, and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. The petrol variant of Jazz is expected to come with CVT gearbox.
When it comes to interiors, the Jazz borrows its dashboard from the new City, and hence, features such as touch-controlled automatic climate control system, steering mounted audio and phone controls, a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and reverse camera, and power folding wing mirrors will be seen. On the safety front, the Jazz will get dual front airbags with ABS and EBD.
